The SFC and the China Securities Regulatory Commission have established close

regulatory cooperation arrangements for cross-boundary derivatives, including the

sharing of supervisory information and provision of enforcement assistance. In addition

to maintaining market integrity, these arrangements will also enable better assessment

and facilitation of the long-term development of China treasury bond futures contracts.

1. Northbound trading of Swap Connect was launched in May 2023.

2. The MSCI China A50 Connect Index Futures contract was launched in

October 2021.
