The China Securities Regulatory Commission recently approved the trading of
CSI 1000 Index Futures and Options at the China Financial Futures Exchange. The

relevant contracts will be officially listed for trading on July 22, 2022.

Stock index futures and options are risk management tools of capital market and

are an important part of the multi-level capital market. In recent years, the investors'

demand for risk management has increased with the steady expansion of the scale of

China’s stock market. Listing of the CSI 1000 Stock Index Futures and Options is an

important measure to comprehensively deepen the reform of the capital market. It will

further satisfy the demand of investors for risk mitigation, improve and perfect the

stock market stabilization mechanism, and support the stable and healthy

development of the capital market.
