China Securities Regulatory Commission Agreed Guangzhou Futures Exchange
to List Silicon Metal Futures and Options for Trading(2022/12/2)
China Securities Regulatory Commission recently announced that it has given
the green light to the trading of Silicon Metal Futures and Options on the Guangzhou
Futures Exchange.
The Silicon Metal Futures and Options are the first product listed for trading at
Guangzhou Futures Exchange. Silicon metal is an important raw material for the
“silicon energy” industry and belongs to the green and low-carbon products. China is
the world’s largest silicon metal producing, consuming and exporting country. The
launch of silicon metal futures and options is of positive significance to optimize the
price formation mechanism of silicon metal, enhance the risk management ability of
market participants and facilitate the development of China’s low-carbon economy, in
line with the positioning of the Guangzhou Futures Exchange to serve green
development.

3. 证监会确定黄大豆 1 号、黄大豆 2 号、豆粕、豆油期货和期权为境内特定品
种（2022 年 12 月 9 日）
根据《境外交易者和境外经纪机构从事境内特定品种期货交易管理暂行办法》
（证监会令第 116 号）的有关规定，日前，证监会确定大连商品交易所的黄大豆
1 号、黄大豆 2 号、豆粕、豆油期货和期权为境内特定品种。上述品种于 2022
年 12 月 26 日引入境外交易者参与交易。
